The handling and tire wear of your car mostly depends on the position of wheels.
The three parameters to be adjusted are:
- wheel toe
- wheel camber
- wheel caster angle (longitudinal angle of the shock absorber)
In principle, all wheels of the car are adjusted on the axle aligner to be parallel (in reality, the manufacturer has prescribed small deviations for each model). This ensures that all wheels of the car roll freely and none of them is dragged.
The precondition of axle alignment is the replacement of worn joints and parts with new ones as worn joints change the positions of wheels and axle alignment is lost.
We use new Hunter 3D axle aligners, which are among the most precise instruments on the market, in our centers in Lasnamäe, Lennujaama, Rannamõisa, Tartu Ringtee, Pärnu, Rakvere and Viljandi. A John Bean 3D axle aligner is used in our Rapla center.
The measuring units of Hunter axle aligner use rubber pads to rest on the wheel and clamps are used for fastening to the tire; therefore, it is impossible to damage the wheels.
